Tim Murphy
President/Founding Principal
Tim started his business in Colorado Springs in 1985 after he moved to Colorado from Minnesota. He has a keen eye for seeing how your home can be positioned on your lot to maximize your views and all that your land has to offer. Tim is the leader of Murphy’s Custom Homes and has great confidence in his experienced team of home builders, who have earned distinguished awards for building extraordinary homes. He works hard in order for his customers to have the very best custom home building experience possible!
Sarah Martin
Vice President/Principal
Sarah grew up in the business and now leads a highly qualified team of professional home builders who share her passion for exceeding your expectations with innovative design, exceptional quality, and a superior home building experience. She values the reputation her family holds and carries her parents’ vision forward. Sarah works with the clients to make their dream a reality.
Beth Murphy
Design Specialist/Principal
Beth is our exceptional in-house designer. She will personally work with you to help create an aesthetically pleasing environment in your dream home. Beth will help you plan and coordinate, and assist you in putting together all the design elements, from the colors and textures to the lighting and finishes. She’ll ensure everything flows and works together to provide you with the look you want. Beth’s eye for designing homes is unprecedented! She will be at your service!
Shane Martin
Project Manager/Estimator
Architecture has always been a passion of Shane’s. He grew up in the trades doing framing and hardwood flooring and is now a Project Coordinator and Lead Estimator for Murphy’s Custom Homes. Shane’s attention to detail and winning attitude ensure that materials are ordered on time, crews are managed properly, and the job gets done right.
Adam Dome
Project Manager
Adam built his first house at age 7! It was in a tree in his family’s backyard in Colorado. Since then he has grown up in the trades and is now Lead Service Coordinator for Murphy’s Custom Homes. He will oversee every facet of your custom home build from foundation to final punch list. Adam’s favorite part of his job is seeing the satisfaction on the customers face as they walk through the front door of their new home.
Brice Thomas
New Build Coordinator
Brice ensures that your new custom home vision becomes a reality by performing front end services for Murphy’s Custom Homes in order to develop a solid plan for your project. After contracting with Murphy’s Custom Homes to build your home, Brice will participate in builder-client communications, meetings, and site visits. Brice has a passion for new construction and helps set the groundwork for every project to be developed with the time frame and vision that are laid out at the start of the project.
Maria Hayes-Joshua
Design Specialist
Maria is an in-house designer with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design with a minor in Construction Management. She has a passion for design and an eye for small details. She has always loved building and strives each day to make people’s home dreams come true. Maria specializes in creating visuals for clients to see their spaces before they are built, and in ensuring all selections coordinate with each other. She will work with you every step of the way to ensure your vision comes to life!
