Working with the Murphys has been a pleasure. The flexibility and guidance provided, being this was the first custom home we have done, was excellent. The build was on schedule, no appointments were late or canceled and we felt like we were their first priority every step of the way. Project was only delayed by a month, and that was due to extreme weather that was beyond anyone’s control. The house is beautiful and more than we could have dreamed possible. The punch list was minimal and of those items needing addressed, they were resolved quickly and under warranty.

Home building is a complicated experience and not everything goes as planned. Questions and decisions seem never ending. The Murphys were always available to answer questions so we could make informed choices. When problems arose, the Murphys were there to listen and brainstorm for solutions we could both be happy with.
We experienced extreme weather which caused delays. In June, the Murphys checked to be sure we still wanted to participate in the 2019 Colorado Springs Parade of Homes. We said we would, but didn't think they would finish to make the deadline. They rallied all of their resources and finished in time for judging. Not only was the project completed in time; it was a winner of multiple awards in its category.

Our experience with Murphy's Custom Homes has been a pleasure from the start of construction thru moving in, to taking care of the after construction punch list. The whole staff was courteous and helpful throughout, but we would like to especially mention Tim, Beth, and Brice. Brice Thomas was our first contact and he got us started with planning and layout. He continued to stay in contact through the finish of the home. Tim Murphy took care of the construction and we can't say enough about him. He was always there to answer our questions. His many years of experience and expertise really showed through by coming up with innovative solutions to problems that arose. All the while keeping our budget in mind. Beth Murphy was a god-send and guided us through the interior selection process, picking cabinets, colors, floors, counters, and the hundreds of other decisions that had to be made. Again keeping the budget in line. We couldn't be more pleased with our results. The house is beautiful and was finished on time despite Colorado spring weather problems.
